Thickeners / Dewatering Machines

Dewatering machines in the thickening design are intended for dewatering all fibrous suspensions in the paper and pulp industry, especially for continuous dewatering. In the filter version, they are mainly intended for the cleaning of fibrous waters in the paper and pulp industry.

Dewatering machines with a sensing cylinder are used for continuous thickening
at steady inflow conditions. The performance of the machine depends on the type and above all dewatering speed or degree of grinding of the fibrous suspension and its inflow consistency. During operation, the screen drum covered with a plastic collapsible screen is continuously cleaned by the spray water from the flat jet nozzles.
