PM Leipa - supply of Yankee Cylinder, Overhaul of the Drying Part, New Part of the Felt Guide

Company Celpap overhauled the original structure of the drying part of second-hand PM Leipa, to which was delivered a new upper part for felt guiding. In 2023, a customer from Czech Republic bought a second-hand PM for the production of fluting & liner type paper from Germany, which was reconstructed for the production of special types of paper. Celpap modified the machine to the newly required type of production range.

The original Yankee cylinder was installed in the drying section, which was re-bearinged and stored in the new houses. The surface of the cylinder was re-gridnded, a new covering was done. The cylinder was rebalanced. Celpap carried out overhaul and modifications of the legs and longitudinal beams of the drying part, adjustment of the pressing mechanism of the press rolls, addition of the structure of the upper felt guide. The original guide rolls, suction boxes, spray tubes, tensioning device, etc. were overhauled.

The machine was supplemented with new drives. Equipment was shipped to the customer during the summer months of 2024. At the moment, assembly is finished, the machine works in test mode.
