During 2023/2024, the company Celpap carried out a complete overhaul of the sieve part of PS Leipa, Germany. The machine was purchased in 2023 by a customer from the Czech Republic with the aim of reconstructing a stand for the production of special types of paper. Complete disassembly of the paper machine, including stock preparation line. Dismantling also involved the complete cleaning of all production areas. The most difficult was dismantling of the Yankee cylinder weighing 35 tons (cylinder diameter 3600 mm, width 2300 mm, width including pins 4600 mm).

Celpap overhauled and modified the original support structure of the second-hand PM Leipa drying part, to which a new upper part for the felt guide was added. The original Yankee cylinder was installed in the drying part of the machine, which was re-bearinged and stored in new housings. The surface of the cylinder was reground, a new injection of the cylinder was carried out. The cylinder was rebalanced...

Celpap has dismantled a yankee cylinder of a tissue machine (2.7 m; 1500 m/min) in Spain for an Egyptian customer. The yankee is not a small one - 4500 mm dia, 52 tons. The dismantling of the entire machine was completed in October 2024.
